Fylde Conclave No.125 donates to North West Air Ambulance

On Friday 6th March the Conclave’s Supreme Ruler, Steve Willingham, Counselor (and S.R. Elect) Bill Brisk together with the Treasurer, Ian Chetwynd Prov GG visited the North West Air Ambulance at Blackpool airport to present a cheque for £1000.00.

Both Steve and Bill’s family have in the past required the assistance of the Air Ambulance (though Steve called upon the “Yorkshire team” to rescue his injured wife from the cliffs above Robin Hoods Bay).
The three Brethren were met by Kelly who gave an informative tour of the facility and then after watching the helicopter return to base from an emergency call, introduced them to the pilot.

Kelly then kindly led the three Brethren outside to the magnificent aircraft and took the attached photograph of the Conclave’s cheque being held by, (from left to right) Ian Chetwynd, Steve Willingham and Bill Brisk.

After receiving the Charity’s profound gratitude and a “thank you” card for the Conclave, three very proud Brethren thanked Kelly for her time and left with a small memento of their visit.
